Sails Cafe is dedicated to bringing the vibrant flavors of Spain to Canada.

Proprietor Martin Goicoechea who's origins are from the north of Spain in the province of Asturias and the Basque country.​

He has a deep passion for both cooking and sailing.

​The Basque region that includes the south of France and North of Spain is known to have the best cuisine in the world. A region that is also notorious for men being the ones who do the cooking.

Martin moved to the Penetanguishene area in 2013 when he met his wife Yvonne Brunelle who is a local from Lafontaine.

With a commitment to authenticity, Martin and his team prepare each dish with care, using recipes that highlight the rich diversity of Spanish cuisine, from savory tapas to delectable pastries. His menu is a celebration of flavours that will transport you straight to Spain.

He prides himself on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where friends and family can gather to enjoy good food and great company.
